My upcoming album titled, "Black Sheep" is dropping on February 12, 2016. I'm extremely excited to release this album for you. Its been in the works for about a year and a half now and I think its some of my best work. The album is extremely transparent, as it shows some of my dialogues with Christ in my deepest struggles, as well as reveal a lot of my worldview. "Why Black Sheep?" I've been asked the question so much that I thought it'd be a dope thing to write about.

I wanna break this down for you. Historically, black sheep were looked at as not valuable because their wool could not be dyed. They were virtually unusable and were the outcast of the herd. In a lot of ways I liken that to me. I've never been the smartest, the best looking, or even the most talented. I moved around a lot so I didn't have many friends. I was (am) socially awkward so I kept to myself most of the time. They're really wasn't anything about me that screamed unique.

I felt like the black sheep to my peers, but for some reason the Lord saw fit to use me. Even though I felt unusable. He has equipped me with all I would ever need to be a witness for Him. 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” So every person who considers themselves a black sheep know that you are not alone and you as well can be used.
